Illusion of Pain x11
I'm new here so.. hello!
I have a burning question so because of that, and because of my raging guild wars addiction I decided to join up, I've been here before loads of times already to check up on info etc Anyway, I've seen this happen more often and I just don't understand.. How can I get spiked by 11 Illusion of Pain hexes when there is only one mesmer on the other team? o_o I die and it says on the left, among this whole list of other hexes and attacks: Illusion of Pain x11. How is this even possible? I thought they didn't stack, and even if they do it's still not possible for one persoon to cast them? it's beyond my comprehension |

Illusion of pain deals damage each second. It might be that the game considers every second a round of damage from illusion of pain. It have effect in ten seconds, so maybe when you catch the hex it counts as one, and ten more seconds after that.
It's the only thing i can think of. |

The x11 means you took damage from Illusion of Pain 11 times. Since you take damage each second the hex is on you, each packet of damage is counted in the combo. So it's not a stack of hexes, rather one hex hitting for multiple packets.

It can also be recast on you without giving you the heal, meaning it could theoretically hit every second until you die.
